Overview

The De’Longhi Dedica Arte is a stylish semi-automatic espresso machine with a sleek and compact design and gorgeous stainless steel housing. Featuring a more barista oriented design than the other members of the Dedica family, the Dedica Arte is equipped with a commercial steam wand for traditional milk frothing, and with some practice, can produce latte art quality milk foam.

Features and Performance

Compact and quick, the Dedica Arte brews and steams with a rapid-heating thermoblock boiler and houses a powerful 15 bar pump to extract espresso. The machine brews with a pressurized portafilter designed to simplify the espresso process, allowing for use of both pre-ground coffee and E.S.E. pods in addition to freshly ground espresso. Along with the portafilter, the Dedica Arte has a single and double shot filter basket to brew with your desired amount of coffee and a high quality steel tamper to prepare shots for extraction.

To brew, the Dedica Arte has two programmable buttons, one for a single and one for a double shot. For the single, shots can be programmed between 0.5oz – 3oz while the double can be set from 1oz – 6oz. Pressing the steam button will switch the Dedica Arte into steam mode where the commercial wand truly shines. You can also dispense hot water through the steam wand for drinks like tea and Americanos by setting the steam switch to the hot water position.

The Dedica Arte’s stylish design also thoughtfully considers practicality as well. Across the top of the machine, the cup tray can hold several espresso cups and passively pre-heat them before brewing. Depending on the size of your cup, the drip tray features a multi-tiered design that can comfortably fit cups up to 5.1” in height.

As a final unique note, the Dedica Arte can also be programmed for water hardness via an included test strip and features an automatic descaling alert that will trigger once a predetermined amount of water has been dispensed.
